MP610 Pixma Product information

The Canon Pixma MP610 is an advanced solution to producing outstanding prints,copies and scans. Maximum print resolution of 9600dpi combined with microscopic dots of a minimum size of 1pl and 5 efficient individual ink tanks ensure lab quality photos. Print in approximately 21 sec for a 6” x 4” photo. The Pixma MP 610 has advanced features of direct printing from compatible camera, memory cards or mobile phones, direct printing onto a DVD/CD, auto duplex, borderless printing and scanning at up to 4800 x 9600 dpi encourage endless creativity.

Picolitre size

The size of the ink droplets can vary, and it is this that you quite often see quoted in printer specifications as a Pico litre rating (pl). The Smaller the nozzle jet, the tinier the ink drop, so the more detailed the print image will be.

MP610 Ink tanks/Cartridges

To minimise ink wastage and protect the environment, Canon's MP610 uses a Single Ink system that have clear view, individually replaceable single colour ink cartridges. Each tank has an LED system that lights up to show when ink levels are low, or blinks at high speed when the pot is empty. To make sure that the user can install the cartridges with no problems , the LED also indicates when a tank has been installed incorrectly.

Canon MP610 Easy Scroll Wheel

The Easy-Scroll Wheel is rotated to operate the printer and make selections from the menu, displayed on a high quality colour TFT screen.

Auto Duplex Print

Built-in Auto Duplex printing capability is compatible with photo paper as well as plain paper feeding from both Rear Tray and Cassette.

Memory Card Compatibility

Digital photographs can be printed quickly and easily simply by inserting memory cards into the card slot. Most of the memory cards in the market are supported.

Colour Copy

A4 document colour copy speed. The advanced copy technology gives faithful colour reproduction on plain papers as well. Deliver high speed copy with beautiful photos and texts.

Scan

Scanner Optical Resolution: The CCD or CIS systems of flat-bed scanning are used in all-in-one models. Achieved maximum resolution of 4800 (horizontal) x 9600 (vertical) dpi. 4800dpi resolution delivers good colour scans. Scan straight to PC, email or PDF. MP Navigator EX software makes every stage of operation easier, from image search to PDF document editing. ChromaLife 100

ChromaLife100 is a system that improves the quality and glow of printed documents and photos, this happens due to a combination of selected Canon specific inks and quality printing papers. By printing with the ChromaLife 100 system, your print results will last without any colour fading for much longer periods compared to standard papers and inks.
